Dr. Micayla Fisher-Ives (maiden name, Botwin) earned her Doctorate in Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, PA. During her time in optometry school, she interned at a variety of clinics across the country, as well as the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Baltimore, MD, in conjunction with the John Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute.
Dr. Micayla Fisher-Ives grew in up Santa Fe, New Mexico. She attended Santa Fe Preparatory school for middle and high school, and completed her undergraduate education at the University of New Mexico, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Biology and Psychology before attending Optometry school.
Dr. Micayla Fisher-Ives is a board certified optometrist and licensed in the state of New Mexico in Ocular Therapeutics.
In her personal time, Dr. Micayla practices yoga and pilates, and enjoys spending time with her husband on their small farm.
